1. St Louis Rams: Sam Bradford Qb Oklahoma. Status quo ante
2. Detroit Lions: Ndamukong Suh DT Nebraska. Status quo ante
3. San Francisco 49ers(projected trade with Tampa, Tampa gets pick 13, 49ers’ 2nd round pick and a 2011 first): Russell Okung OT Oklahoma State. Staley has been a solid OT for the 49ers, but the rest of their line has been an open sore. Okung is probably a better fit at RT anyways.
4. Washington Redskins: Bryan Bulaga OT Iowa. Status quo ante
5. Kansas City Chiefs: Eric Berry S Tennessee. They’ll go OT in round 2.
6. Seattle Seahawks: Gerald McCoy DT Oklahoma. Carroll’s defense have always been built from the inside out.
7. Cleveland Browns: CJ Spiller RB Clemson Community College. And they’ll regret the pick only once: continuously.
8. Oakland Raiders: Bruce Campbell OT UMD. You have to feel sorry for him…
9. New England Patriots(projected trade with Buffalo, Buffalo gets picks 22, 53 and New England’s natural 2011 first): Rolando McClain LB Alabama. They love Mayo, but teaming him with McClain could be deadly.
10. Jacksonville Jaguars: Derrick Morgan DE Georgia Tech. Yeah, they just signed Kampman, but Derrick Harvey is effectively useless.
11. Denver Broncos(from Chicago): Brandon Graham 3-4 OLB Michigan. Denver’s problem last year was a defense that couldn’t stop an elderly woman with the flu.
12. Denver Broncos(projected trade with Miami Dolphins, Miami gets Brandon Marshall and the Broncos’ 2nd round pick): Terrance Cody DT Alabama. Opposing teams rushed for 4.5 ypc against the Broncos last year. Him and Jamal Williams aren’t full time players though, so they platoon(and play together in goal line/short yardage plays).
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers(from San Francisco 49ers): Jason Pierre-Paul DE South Florida. At least they got a couple more picks to try and botch. JPP has Mike Mamula written all over him.
14. Seattle Seahawks(from Denver): Trent Williams OT Oklahoma. Carroll also believes in an OL.
15. New York Giants:. Jermaine Gresham TE Oklahoma. They like Boss, but they need more.
16. Tennessee Titans: Carlos Dunlap DE Florida. A project, but their DL coaches are amazing
17. San Francisco 49ers(from Carolina): Jimmy Clausen QB Notre Dame. I don’t think that the 49ers are dumb enough to think that 2 #1 busts are the answer for them long term.
18. Dallas Cowboys(projected trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Steelers get pick 27, RB Marion Barber and Dallas’ 2010 3rd round pick-Dallas also gets OT Tony Hills): Anthony Davis OT Rutgers. If Doug Free is protecting Romo’s blindside, it’ll be a long season in Big D. Dealing up for Davis allows the Boys to pawn off two guys who need a change of scenery on the Steelers.
19. Atlanta Falcons: Golden Tate WR Notre Dame. Status quo ante.
20. Houston Texans: Joe Haden CB Florida. DB DB DB DB DB DB DB DB
21. Cincinnati Bengals: Dez Bryant WR Oklahoma State. Even after signing Bryant, that offense clicks best with multiple WR sets. Apparently the Bengals are legitimately interested in Bryant, so he jumped up here.
22. Buffalo Bills(from New England): Tim Tebow QBish Florida. A disaster waiting to happen: the Bills need to sell tickets and will force him out on the field way too early.
23. Green Bay Packers: Jerry Hughes 34 OLB TCU. Status quo ante
24. Philadelphia Eagles: Mike Iupati OL Idaho. They really wanted Tebow to fall here.
25. Baltimore Ravens: Kyle Wilson CB Boise State. CB and returner, really helps the Ravens in a number of ways.
26. Arizona Cardinals: Brandon Spikes LB Florida. They need defensive playmakers.
27. Pittsburgh Steelers(from Dallas): Nate Allen FS South Florida. They need another ballhawk in the secondary, and picking up Barber fills a major need for them. OL can wait until 2nd round.
28. San Diego Chargers: Jahvid Best Rb California. Status quo ante
29. New York Jets: Dan Williams DL Tennessee. Status quo ante
30. Minnesota Vikings: Jared Odrick DL PSU. Despite the suspensions of the Williams’ sisters, they need some young blood at DT.
31. Indianapolis Colts: Charles Brown OT Southern Cal. They believe that the reason they lost the Super Bowl was because their Oline was overmatched.
32. New Orleans Saints: Greg Hardy DE Ole Miss. Even after signing Brown, they need young talent at DE.
