1. St Louis Rams: Ndamukong Suh DT Nebraska. If they were truly serious about Bradford, they wouldn’t even be considering Suh(and they are). And the Lions believe that they’re going Suh, which leads me to…
2. Detroit Lions: Russell Okung OT Oklahoma State. If the Rams go Bradford, Schwartz is going Suh. Book it. Instead, they’re working Backus at OG to open up a spot for a OT. Hmm…
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gerald McCoy DT Oklahoma. They might go Berry here, but they can’t pass on a building block DT.
4. Washington Redskins: Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma. Shanahan loves him some gunslinger QBs with pocket presence.
5. Kansas City Chiefs: Bryan Bulaga OT Iowa. Albert has been a disappointment at LT, he’s probably a RT/LG, this solidified their Line(along with Wiegmann and Lidjia).
6. Seattle Seahawks: Eric Berry S Tennessee. Tempted to take an OT, Mays or Clausen, but Carroll knows the value of a defensive playmaker.
7. Cleveland Browns: Rolando McClain LB Alabama. I’m not buying Clausen here or the trade up talk emenating out of Cleveland yet.
8. Oakland Raiders: Bruce Campbell OT UMD. Can’t play+great athlete=natural fit.
9. Buffalo Bills: Derrick Morgan DE/OLB Ga Tech. Another team that could go in a number of ways, Morgan fills an immediate need.
10. Jacksonville Jaguars: Golden Tate WR Notre Dame. Big riser who seems to be moving up as Clausen moves down.
11. Denver Broncos(from Chicago): Brandon Spikes LB Florida. Another big riser. The Broncos need to repair their defense, Spikes goes a long way towards that.
12. Miami Dolphins: Brandon Graham DE/OLB Michigan. Signing Dansby solidifies the ILBs, Wake has potential, but they need more at OLB
13. San Francisco 49ers: Trent Williams OT Oklahoma. Carr/Smith seem like the option at, so they shore up their biggest need.
14. Seattle Seahawks(from Denver): Anthony Davis OT Rutgers. Now Carroll can’t pass on an OT.
15. New York Giants: Carlos Dunlap DE Florida. Osi appears to be on his way out, Canty is a waste. They could use some new blood on the Dline.
16. Tennessee Titans: Greg Hardy DE Ole Miss. With Kearse/KVB leaving, DE is a priority.
17. San Francisco 49ers(from Carolina): Taylor Mays S Southern Cal. Singletary flirts with Joe Haden, but decides on the higher upside prospect.
18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Mike Iupati OL Idaho. The Steelers need two things this offseason: Oline help and a good defense attorney.
19. Atlanta Falcons: Jason Pierre-Paul DE/OLB South Florida. Freakish physical tools, needs a lot of work. They can platoon him and Anderson for a year.
20. Houston Texans: Kyle Wilson Cb Boise State. Him or Haden here, Wilson gets the nod because of his athleticism.
21. Cincinnati Bengals: Jermaine Gresham TE Oklahoma. Signing Bryant helps the outside passing game, Gresham helps move the chains.
22. New England Patriots: Jahvid Best RB California. Gets the nod over Spiller on experience.
23. Green Bay Packers: Terrance Cody NT Alabama. They could go OLB or CB here, but a Pickett-Cody-Raji Dline looks pretty tough against the run.
24. Philadelphia Eagles: Dan Williams DT Tennessee. They should go OLB here, but Reid thinks that pouring low upside DTs into the hole helps.
25. Baltimore Ravens: Donovan Warren CB Michigan. Raven’s might have fixed the WR spot, they still need help at CB.
26. Arizona Cardinals: Jimmy Clausen QB Notre Dame. His freefall stops here with Whisenhunt not being totally sold on Leinart. Loser gets dealt to Seattle?
27. Dallas Cowboys: Joe Haden CB Florida. Newman is getting o.l.d, Jenkins is hit/miss.
28. San Diego Chargers: CJ Spiller RB Clemson Community College. Sproles can’t handle the load by himself.
29. New York Jets: Damian Williams WR Southern Cal. Edwards might get dealt, but they need a possession WR badly.
30. Minnesota Vikings: Tony Pike QB Cincy. Whether or not Favre comes back, they need a better option for the future.
31. Indianapolis Colts: Jared Odrick DL Penn State. As always, the Colts bleed defensive talent in free agency. Odrick can play just about anywhere.
32. New Orleans Saints: Earl Thomas S Texas. Ballhawk for a defense that loves them

    • Tony Pike is in the first round. Im no fan of Earl Thomas, but if the Saints let Sharper walk, then he’s a logical pick(although Chad Jones or Nate Allen might be better). Dez Bryant could go anywhere from 20-50, everything hinges on his pro day: a bad 40 times and he’s going in the middle of the 2nd.

  1. I pretty much agree with everything but I don’t think Pike will make the first round (I hope thought, I’m a Cincy fan) and I think Clausen will be higher. I believe it would be in Tampa’s best interest to take Eric Berry, he already knows the system Tampa’s in. I wish Cincinnati would trade up and take him but I know Mike Brown would never do that.

  2. A DT’s not an option in the first round for the Eagles.
With the release of Shawn Andrews earlier today, I can’t help but feel that the Eagles will move up for Iupati.
If not, LB Weatherspoon would be an option if available.
If not, they’d probably move out of the first round again.
