1. St Louis Rams: Ndamukong Suh DT Nebraska. Tampa ain’t trading Freeman, a 2nd and #3 to move up here.
2. Detroit Lions: Gerald McCoy DT Oklahoma. Schwartz would love for St Louis to take Bradford here, but he won’t be sad over getting McCoy.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Eric Berry S Tennessee. I don’t see the Glazers trading out of this spot. They need a big name to bring in fans, but can’t deal up due to salary issues to 1.
4. Washington Redskins: Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma. If he’s there, they’re taking him.
5. Kansas City Chiefs: Bryan Bulaga OT Iowa. Gets the nod over Okung because he projects to be a LT in the NFL, Albert slides over to RT.
6. Seattle Seahawks: Russell Okung OT Oklahoma State. Walter Jones playing or not, the Seattle Oline is a wreck.
7. Cleveland Browns: Rolando McClain LB Alabama. Almost certainly taking a defender here.
8. Oakland Raiders: Taylor Mays S/LB USC. Let me see: makes no sense(check), a prospect going about 15 picks too high(check), they already have talent at his position on the roster(check)…must be a Raiders pick!
9. Buffalo Bills: Bruce Campbell OT UMD. Need a QB and 3-4 defensive talent, they can’t pass on a quality LT prospect.
10. Denver Broncos(from Chicago): Terrance Cody NT Alabama. Sticking with their 3-4 means that they have to have an NT who can move the pile.
11. Jacksonville Jaguars: Carlos Dunlap DE Florida. Need to sell tickets, but can’t swallow a Tebow pick here.
12. Miami Dolphins: Damian Willians WR USC. Ginn is complementary piece, none of the rest of their WRs are worth a crap.
13. San Francisco 49ers: Jimmy Clausen QB Notre Dame. His fall ends here, but they’re going to push him out there on the field before he’s ready.
14. Seattle Seahawks(from Denver): Anthony Davis OT Rutgers. Carroll still needs a QB, but he’s happy to take a pair of bookend OTs to start his NFL return. Don’t be shocked if this pick gets swapped with the Saints’ 1st for Reggie Bush.
15. New York Giants: Joe Haden CB Florida. Webster is a good CB, Ross appears to be made of glass and the rest of the Cbs are C level at best.
16. San Francisco 49ers(from Carolina): Trent Williams OT Oklahoma. He’ll start immediately.
17. Tennessee Titans: Derrick Morgan DE Ga. Tech. Vanden Bosch is probably walking, they need a DE badly.
18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Mike Iupati OG Idaho. They need offensive line help in the worst way.
19. Atlanta Falcons: Dez Bryant WR Oklahoma State. They need something to go with White.
20. Houston Texans: Chad Jones S LSU. They need defensive backfield help.
21. Cincinnati Bengals: Jermaine Gresham TE Oklahoma. I don’t buy the TO rumors, but they need another target.
22. New England Patriots: Jahvid Best Rb California. Hardest team to predict don’t be surprised if this pick gets swapped to the Cards for Boldin.
23. Green Bay Packers: Jared Odrick DL PSU. Losing Jolly and Pickett in one offseason is a lot to overcome.
24. Philadelphia Eagles: John Jerry OL Ole Miss. Natural fit for Reid.
25. Baltimore Ravens: Donovan Warren CB Michigan. Probably will go the free agent route for a CB, but until they do, I expect a CB. This is another potentially trade bait pick for Vincent Jackson or Marshall.
26. Arizona Cardinals: Brandon Spikes LB Florida. Dansby is probably walking, Berry retired. They need defensive playmakers.
27. Dallas Cowboys: Golden Tate WR Notre Dame. Roy Williams is probably fried chicken with no cap, Austin was great, but they need someone better than Crayton/Hurd to go with him.
28. San Diego Chargers: Bradon Lafell WR LSU. They want to dump Jackson, Floyd and Osgood are probably gone also.
29. New York Jets: Mike Johnson OG Alabama. Don’t be shocked if they dump Faneca, and don’t be shocked if this pick heads to Oakland for Asomugha.
30. Minnesota Vikings: Tony Pike QB Cincinnati. Even if Favre returns, they need a real option at QB for the future. Dome Qb goes to a dome team.
31. Indianapolis Colts: Kyle Wilson Cb Boise State. Looks like Marlin Jackson and Jennings are leaving one way or the other. Wilson gives them a returner as well.
32. New Orleans Saints: Nate Allen FS South Florida. Sharper is leaving(almost certain), Allen is a ball hawk.
Round 2
33. St Louis Rams: Jevan Snead Qb Ole Miss.
34. Detroit Lions: Jason Fox OT Miami.
35. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Andre Roberts WR Citadel
36. Kansas City Chiefs: CJ Spiller RB Clemson Community College
37. Washington Redskins: Charles Brown OT USC
38. Cleveland Browns: Ryan Matthews RB Fresno State
39. Oakland Raiders: Sean Weatherspoon LB Missouri
40. Seattle Seahawks: Tim Tebow QB Florida
41. Buffalo Bills: Jason Pierre-Paul 3-4 OLB South Florida
42. New England Patriots(from Jacksonville): Brandon Graham 3-4 OLB Michigan
43. Miami Dolphins: Dan Williams DT/NT Tennessee
44. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Greg Hardy DE Ole Miss
45. Denver Broncos: Mardy Gilyard WR Cincinnati
46. New York Giants: Brian Price DT UCLA
47. Carolina Panthers: Maurkice Pouncey OL Florida
48. New England Patriots: Corey Wootton DL Northwestern
49. San Francisco 49ers: Javier Arenas CB/KR Alabama
50. Kansas City Chiefs(from Atlanta): Jeremy Williams WR Tulane
51. Houston Texans: Everson Griffen DE USC
52. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kyle Calloway OT Iowa
53. New England Patriots: Dexter McCluster RB/WR Ole Miss
54. Cincinnati Bengals: Cam Thomas DT UNC
55. Philadelphia Eagles: Jared Veldheer OT Hillsdale
56. Green Bay Packers: Selvish Capers OT WVU
57. Baltimore Ravens: Danario Alexander WR Missouri
58. Arizona Cardinals: Aaron Hernandez TE Florida
59. Dallas Cowboys: Ciron Black OT LSU
60. San Diego Chargers: Jonathan Dwyer Rb Ga Tech
61. New York Jets: Earl Thomas S Texas
62. Minnesota Vikings: Mike Neal DT Purdue
63. Indianapolis Colts: Lamarr Houston DT Texas
64. New Orleans Saints: Brandon Lang DE Troy

  1. As a Bucs fan, I am hopeful that Suh or McCoy fall to #3, but I don’t see them trading anywhere but back. If they do deal and fall back to 10 or so and all the top DEs and DTs are gone, I could see them drafting a WR like Bryant and then picking DL with there #2s.

Your rationale for the Raiders selection is hilarious–sad but true.
